Your content stays with you.
This notice describes how the current version of 4ool QR Tools processes information. Updated October 6, 2026.
QR content and image files
QR generation, image reading, verification, downloads, and print layout run in your browser. The application does not upload your text, Wi-Fi password, contact details, QR contents, or selected image files to a service server.
We do not add these values to URLs, logs, analytics events, cookies, local storage, or session storage. Moving from the generator to Print Designer passes a temporary copy in this tab’s JavaScript memory. Reloading the page or opening another tab does not restore that copy. The application does not automatically save your work.
Reset controls clear the active tool. Downloads, copied text, and prints are intentional outputs; your device, clipboard, download folder, and printer may retain them. Anyone who can scan a QR can read what it contains, including a Wi-Fi password even when the printed password label is hidden. Your browser’s own autofill, recovery, or extensions may have separate behavior.
Website requests and hosting
Your browser requests static HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and images to load this site. When deployed to Vercel, the hosting provider may process normal request information such as IP address, requested page, browser information, and request time for delivery and security. This is separate from the QR inputs processed locally. We do not operate a QR-content database.
See Vercel’s privacy policy for the provider’s practices. Exact hosting log retention is controlled by the deployment provider and operator; no retention period is asserted here.
Analytics and advertising
No analytics integration is enabled in this application.
Advertising is currently disabled.
The publisher account meta tag and ads.txt are present for setup, but the Google AdSense advertising script is not loaded. This version therefore makes no AdSense ad requests. Enabling advertising requires a new build and deployment, and this section changes with that build setting.
Links and messages you choose to open
The reader shows decoded text without executing it as HTML. HTTP and HTTPS links open only when you select “Open link.” The destination then receives a normal browser request. An email QR prepares a draft in your email app; a WhatsApp QR opens an official Click to Chat link. Sending a message remains your choice and follows the provider’s policies.
