Build a useful contact card
Enter at least a first or last name, then add the contact fields people need: company, job title, telephone number, email, website, and an optional address. For an event card, a name, company, and one reliable contact method may be enough.
Use a full international telephone number when sharing across countries, and include https:// in a website address. Read the visible fields before exporting; a scan can faithfully reproduce a typo.
A contact record, stored directly
The generator uses vCard 3.0, a structured text format with separate properties for names, telephone numbers, and other contact details. Reserved text separators and line breaks are escaped when the record is built. Enter ordinary text in the form rather than writing vCard syntax yourself.
A compatible scanner can offer to create a contact. The person scanning still reviews and saves it, and different contact apps may map optional fields differently. A plain QR reader may display the raw BEGIN:VCARD record instead of presenting an import screen.
Balance detail with a readable print
A full postal address and many long fields make the code denser. Keep the fields relevant to the setting and leave enough space on your business card for the entire QR and its clear margin.
The QR contains the actual contact data, not an editable profile hosted by 4ool. If your number or email changes, produce a new code. Only include information you intend anyone holding the card to read.
