Inspect a saved image or screenshot
Select a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image, or drag it onto the upload area. Use Try an example image for a quick demonstration. A clean downloaded QR or an uncropped screenshot is a good starting point for your own file. The reader displays decoded raw text and a recognized content type where possible.
Copy the result if you need to compare it with your original data. To inspect another code, replace the image or clear the result. This reader works with image files; it does not request camera access.
Look before opening a link
Recognizing a URL does not establish that its destination is safe or that it belongs to the organization named beside the QR. Read the full hostname and path. Only use Open link for an HTTP or HTTPS result you intend to visit.
Wi-Fi and vCard results may contain passwords or personal contact details. They are displayed as text, not executed as HTML. A recognized type is a format hint, not a guarantee that a network, mailbox, or contact detail is valid.
Help the reader find the pattern
If no QR is found, use a sharper source and include the clear margin around all four sides. Avoid tight crops, motion blur, reflections, and images where the code is only a tiny part of the frame.
The reader accepts files up to 15 MB, 16 megapixels, and 8192 pixels per side. Export a supported image and reduce unnecessary surrounding content while retaining the QR and its margin. A damaged code may remain unreadable even when its general shape is visible.
