Terms
A few clear expectations.
Use these tools thoughtfully, check the result, and share only information you are entitled to share. Updated October 6, 2026.
Using the tools
4ool QR Tools provides free browser tools to encode information, read QR images, and prepare print layouts. You are responsible for the information you enter and for permission to use any linked website, contact details, image, or network credentials.
Do not use the tools to mislead people, distribute unlawful content, impersonate another person, or facilitate phishing. Check destination links before publishing them.
Static QR codes and availability
We impose no service-set expiration or scan-count limit on a generated static QR. Its encoded content cannot be edited after printing. A linked website or file may move, expire, or become unavailable independently. We do not host linked files, redirect scans, or provide scan analytics.
Check before relying on a result
Compatibility varies by scanner, phone, app, printer, material, lighting, size, and color. Image verification compares a decoded image with the encoded original; it does not guarantee that every device or real-world print will work. Check details, scan on your intended devices, and print a sample before a large run.
Reading a QR is not a security assessment of its destination. Email and WhatsApp drafts still need to be checked and sent by the person scanning. Printed contact and Wi-Fi information can be read by anyone who has access to the code.
Changes and service limits
The website and its tools are provided as available. Features may change, and continuous availability or error-free results are not promised. These explanations do not limit rights or obligations that apply under law. No legal operator identity or jurisdiction is inferred from the 4ool brand.
