Start with the full international number
Enter the country calling code and subscriber number. The final link uses digits only. Omit an international dialing prefix such as 00 and any domestic trunk prefix that is not part of the international number.
The form accepts 7–15 digits with an optional leading + and visual separators. If separators are removed for the link, a notice shows the exact resulting number. Format validation cannot confirm ownership or whether the number has a WhatsApp account.
Add a short optional message, such as “Hello, I would like to ask about your opening hours.” It becomes a draft for the person scanning, so phrase it from that person’s point of view.
The official Click to Chat link format
The QR stores https://wa.me/ followed by the number and, optionally, a text query parameter. URL encoding keeps punctuation, line breaks, and Unicode within the message.
Opening the link starts WhatsApp’s chat flow on a supported device or WhatsApp Web. The recipient needs an active account. The person scanning reviews and sends the draft; the QR does not send it automatically.
Check the number before sharing
A number can have a plausible format without belonging to the intended person or being registered with WhatsApp. This generator does not look up accounts. Open and inspect your own finished link before putting it on a sign.
The number and draft message are visible to anyone who reads the QR. 4ool creates the link locally without a WhatsApp API. Opening that link uses WhatsApp’s service and is subject to its availability and policies.
